First Anniversary Celebrated With Multiple Business Award Nominations!
At The Walcote Practice, we are excited to celebrate our first anniversary this week with four nominations for business awards in Hampshire.
Dr Nicholas Hillier and Dr Sinead Doherty opened The Walcote Practice at 37 Southgate Street in Winchester on June 1st 2015. Just twelve months later, The Walcote Practice has over 1,000 registered patients and is a finalist in the Winchester Business Excellence Awards and the South Coast Business Awards.
Dr Doherty said, “We are particularly pleased to have been recognised for our customer service in these awards. We hear every day from our patients that we have been making a positive difference to their health, which is very rewarding.”
We created The Walcote Practice because we felt that in today’s time-pressured world, people could benefit from a new version of GP healthcare which could be dovetailed with their existing NHS provision. The Walcote Practice offers affordable, timely, convenient private GP medical care, delivered by a known doctor in a comfortable setting. Patients attend from Winchester, Hampshire and even beyond for a wide range of GP services, including medical tests, minor skin surgery, private vaccinations and much more.
Dr Hillier said, “The patients have been really wonderful and we’d like to thank them for all their support, great feedback and for referring us their family and friends. I’d also like to say a big thank you to our fantastic team, who all go the extra mile to make patients feel cared for and at ease.”
The Walcote Practice is a finalist in the following Winchester Business Excellence Awards, with the winners to be announced on June 3rd: The Breeze Service Excellence Award, Paris Smith New Business of the Year Award and The University of Winchester Entrepreneur of The Year Award. It is also a finalist in the Winchester Motor Company Skoda Customer Service Award, part of the South Coast Business Awards, with the winner to be announced on July 14th.
