Annual Healthplan Subscription

The Walcote Practice offers you the choice of paying for appointments and services as and when you require, or of subscribing to our Annual Healthplan.

Our Annual Healthplan is designed to help individuals, families and groups make the most of Private GP healthcare at The Walcote Practice. Subscriptions provide the reassurance of flexible, regular, rapid and convenient access to our GPs for personalised healthcare throughout the year. Our subscriptions also offer a variety of benefits, including discounted costs in many areas of our primary healthcare service.

The Walcote Practice offers flexibility within our Healthplan to suit different patient needs. You are able to build your own bespoke individual, family or group Healthplan. Each Annual Healthplan subscription includes the following throughout the year for the Named Individuals on your Healthplan:

  • Multiple Private GP consultations per year**
  • Priority Appointments
  • Full Annual Health Check for one or more adults**
  • Telephone reviews of up to 10 minutes and brief email exchanges**
  • All vaccine and travel advice
  • All repeat prescriptions (excluding controlled drug prescriptions) and reasonable admin
  • Annual flu vaccination for any named adults on the Healthplan

**Excludes laboratory and investigation costs which, if needed, will be charged additionally. At the doctor’s discretion, longer telephone consultations or email exchanges may be charged or counted as a Healthplan consultation. Maximum of two home visits per year per Healthplan within a 20 minute drive of The Walcote Practice.

Our Annual Healthplan subscriptions offer excellent value and enable you to spread lower payments throughout the year to cover you, your family or group for your Private GP healthcare. Please see our Schedule of Fees for subscription costs. You may choose to pay for your Annual Healthplan subscription either monthly by Direct Debit or in annual instalments.

Please note that Healthplan subscription is subsequent to successful application. Our patient list may be periodically closed to protect access to existing patients: a waiting list is applied in these circumstances. Additionally, some applicants may have more complex requirements such as shared specialist care, a high level of home visiting/ unanticipated urgent care or may live further away from the Practice: these factors may make the Healthplan less suitable. We are happy to discuss alternative options.
