A Fond Farewell To Dr Stephen Hillier Upon His Retirement

Stephen Hillier

The Walcote Practice bids a fond farewell to Dr Stephen Hillier upon his retirement.

Since graduating from Westminster Medical School, Dr Stephen Hillier’s career as a hospital doctor and then a GP has spanned five decades. He retired from his NHS role as Lead GP at Bishop’s Waltham Surgery in 2015. We were privileged that he then elected to continue his career by bringing his considerable expertise to The Walcote Practice for the past two years.

Since it opened in June 2015, Dr Stephen Hillier has provided the patients of The Walcote Practice with excellent medical care. He has also been a great support to all staff and he will be very much missed.

We are sure, however, that he will now be enjoying squeezing as much travelling, singing, sailing, fishing, skiing, gardening and family time into every day as possible!

On a personal note, it has been an absolute honour to work alongside my father, having myself been inspired to become a GP by seeing him help his patients since I was a child.

From all at The Walcote Practice we’d like to say a huge “HAPPY RETIREMENT STEPHEN!”
