Video Consultations with The Walcote Practice
The Walcote Practice is working hard to ensure that we can continue to offer you a high quality primary care service during the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
We are now able to provide existing and new patients with a video consultation or a telephone consultation with one of our experienced GPs. We hope that this will help to meet the needs of patients who may be in isolation or remaining at home at present.
These remote consultations will also ensure enhanced health protection for both patients and staff. We will be continuing to offer face-to-face consultations at the practice premises for patients with health issues which require interaction with a doctor in person.
How does it work?
- When you call to book an appointment, you will be asked whether your health issue is appropriate for a remote consultation. If you are not sure, please let our receptionist know this.
- New patients will be asked to complete and return a registration form prior to their first consultation.
- Please choose a quiet area in your home/building to ensure that you can hear the doctor clearly and that you are not overheard by anyone nearby as this will help to maintain confidentiality.
